Aqua Blue Crystal
aqua blue/tiffany blue wedding?

Im getting married 4/24/10 and i chose aqua blue and silver for my colors but im not sure what to do as far as decorations so i need some help this is what i have so far .....im doing aqua blue silk table linens with silver napkins im doing sqaure vases with white and off white roses with clear crystals inside and an aqua blue light inside the water...im also adding to small aquare votives on the side of my large vase with either floating candles or rose buds and silver marbles and a white light in the water...im also thinking of sprinkling rose petals and dimond confetti around the table...my chair covers are white with aqua blue bows??? what do you think? i feel like i should incorporate more silver?? as far as my brides maids im planning either all aqua blue with a silver sash and silver heels (short spring dress) or alternate between aqua and silver dresses? any suggesstions?

I think you're doing the right thing keeping the silver as an accent, rather than having equal amounts of both colors. Silver can be really overwhelming in massive doses. If I were you, I'd even skip the silver napkins and go with white instead. And for your centerpieces, I love the idea of the blue light in the vases with the white roses, surrounded by floating candles, so how about setting all this on a silver plated tray to tie in a bit of silver? You can get these for $1 (!!!) each at Dollar Tree: http://www.dollartreedirect.com/Kitchen&Tableware/Kitchen-Accessories&Serving-Pieces (top right; it says "nickel-plated trays")

Definitely do not make your bridesmaids wear silver! It's a very tough color to wear. The tiffany blue is flattering on every skintone, so stick with that. The silver is fine for an accent though, in a belt or sash.

And no, no, no confetti or glitter. Way to "prom", and a pain to clean up. In fact, most places don't allow glitter or confetti for that reason.

Sounds gorgeous!
