we are installing new light maple cabinets?????

What hardware would look good with it.....color wise? We want to go with knobs instead of handles

The nice thing about natural/light maple is that you can do virtually anything because it is so versatile. I would be more worried about how the hardware compliments the overall theme of the room not just the color scheme. For instance, lets say you have a shaker door that you want to look more contemporary. You would want to find a knob that has minimal detail and sleek lines such as a brushed nickel or satin nckel. If you want something more rustic, use a darker knob such as an Oil Rubbed Bronze. Copper and antique copper are gorgeous finishes but they do not work for every kitchen because of how they conflict with the other metals in the kitchen.
