Help, ima blonde in need of some answers for the type of home maintenance material please!?

How in the world do the set mouse wooden traps? I know you put food in there, pull the lever again?? I BOUGHT THE WOOD ONES I can not seem to understand how remains lever on the other side, a bar skinney long, but it does not get anywhere to lock the lever down ....... Help ima blonde (seriously ).... P.. S is everysince remodeled apt. next to my house I've been having these creepy mice eat my cookies, scaryyyyyyy. Those mice on a diet big me (im scared to go to the kitchen though I know that they are harmless). Anyway what i was there I didn't really want to waste my cheese of these crazy, but what about some peanut butter generic bad that my mom gave me like last year will make that work? Any suggestions please .... Thank you in advance. I also thought to make two questions for the price of 1 .... What I can buy to fill some holes I have in my closets and under my baseboards in the bathroom and theres an inch Floor Sockets

As for the traps, there is a small piece of metal that protrudes on the side if the piece catches for travel cable hook is very sensitive so do while you are on the floor if you can and then gently move it to the desired location. If peanut butter works well, it allways did for me. As for the hole, you can depending on the size of them, fill them with the brass wool. Stuff pads holes it is tight, and tape insulation or something that can not be eliminated. I have also heard that the tacos stuffed with aluminum foil in the holes in the stop cause they bite into it and swallow it and kills them. good luck I hope I was helpful.
