What color and type of wood floor Hardood great game with cherry stained maple cabinets ...?

We are building a new home. We have decided to go with maple cabinets with cherry stain. We have a bumper black trim and light. I am going to tile (colors neutral - ivory darker lines in it - Matches any and all) in my kitchen, but the entire floor is open concept. We try to understand the hardwood floor color to go and what type wood. Some ppl say we match the wood of the cabinets and use the same timber. Some people tell us to go with a rifle at the oak color .. Do not know and need your help because we have deadlines to meet! advice, input would be appreciated.

I'd probably go with a super dark wood or stain to match the black accents or simply match the maple. I prefer black for a dramatic look or match with a simple clean look. I do not want to add another tone to the whole.
