Cup Pull Polished

Cup Pull Polished
Really bad stain in clothes help!!!?

Ok so stupid me listened to so dumb idea on the internet about how to get black inc out of a white shirt. There were several ways they told me how to do it but the one i used was the 3rd one at it said to soke the the shirt where the spot was in nail polish remover for 2 to 3 hours. So i did, i put the nail polish remover in a little plastic cup and dunked the shirt in it and left it for a little over an hour. When i came back i tried to pull the shirt out of the cup but it had melted the cup and the shirt together. JUST MY LUCK!!! But when i tore parts of the cup away hand held the shirt up all that had happened was the ink spread to to more spots of the shirt!!!!!! and there was an even bigger stain of the pink nail polish a big round circle and with pick outline when the nail polish had soaked into the shirt!!!!!!!!!!!! How can i get the shirt back to normal or should i just throw it away... =(

Sorry, but it's time for that shirt to go to the Big Laundromat in the Sky. It's trash.

If you get ink on a shirt again, you can remove it with WD-40™. You can buy WD-40 at your local hardware store.

WD-40 is normally used to lubricate doors and joints that creak but it also removes ink.

Spray the mark with WD-40. Allow to sit at least a half an hour. Then launder as usual. Repeat if necessary. Do not machine dry the shirt until all ink is gone. Machine drying sets stains.

Important: Test a small, inconspicuous area first before using WD-40.

If the WD-40 leaves an oil mark, you can then remove this with dish washing liquid. Rub a little into the mark. Allow to sit a half an hour. Then launder as usual.

If you're skeptical...it worked for this other woman who asked a similar question on Yahoo Answers: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AoOV.IxuLy5q_rA0ZpR5vlLty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20091203232213AABP50S&show=7#profile-info-vjPfT1J6aa
