Kitchen cabinet hinges?

I have just fitted new cabinet hinges to some of my kitchen units,i brought the hinges from wickes ,they only had one type for a 90 degree opening but now there fitted the hinge side of the door stands proud of the carcass by about 7mm what can I do to get the doors to fit flush

The type of hinge you have have the generic name of Blum hinges, however they are not all manufactured by Blum there are other manufactures and not all the fixing plates share the same fixing centres even though the hinge part may seem to fit. Assuming you have fitted new plates with your new hinges then if you cannot find enough adjustment then you have the hinge plates fitted at the wrong centres. and you may need to re aline the hinge plates if you are careful you could do this by unscrewing the top plate whilst the hinge is still attached to the door and the bottom hinge is taking the weight of the door and re fix the hinge plate in a new position (may need someone to hold the door) then repeat the process with the bottom hinge. good luck
