lawn mower problem: engine oil into the gas can and gasoline into the engine oil can?

I have accidentally put engine oil into the gas can and gasoline into the engine oil can. Can any one tell me how to clean them? I pulled the starter handle several times before I realize this problem. Please help. Thank you very much.

You clean both the resevoirs by draining and refilling with the proper fuel or oil whichever goes where. It's not that complicated, just messy. The engine will smoke for a while after you restart with good fresh gas in the tank, but that will go away and shouldn't permanently damage anything.
