woodworking question: "iron table"?

I am a woodworker of fans, creating a small table. Plans call for a table-plates are shaped figure 8s ... or two flat washers welded together edge to edge. You screw down the leg through the ironing board, then the leg in the other loop on the tabletop. Hardware give me a funny look when asking about these. Where I can find and what is properly called?

They are known as number eight clips. Here is a link to some I found online. Hope this helps. EDIT: Good work, Trash. Rockle I searched but could not find them.
