Polished Brass Strip who are older than 50 years, some tips for getting blur out?
I have two dressers in which everyone has the same brass strip and am having trouble booking the pigmentation out of the comfortable second (my mother cleaned 5-6 years ago and tarnished again). I think that putting a clear coat of some sort on them to tarnish not work but I think it prevents me from getting the tarnish anyway. . . help. . . ? I have been using Bar Keepers Friend (* Use. * To think it was a miracle), but now it does not work, even with a toothbrush. Any special brushes or something that might work a hell of a lot better? I do not want new ones "I just want these to be easier to polish ~! lol is it so hard to ask?
if their husbands are 50 years old then they should be pure brass, not the treaty, try nail polish remover to try to eliminate whatever "Mom" may have placed on them, try lacquer thinner, then,, use BRASSO!
