training cat to use toilet?
I think I could train one of my cats to use the toilet since he seems smart. He opens cabinets and doors (they're pull handles). He also tries to turn on the faucet and when his water dish is empty he'll let me know by trying to grab the water bottle next to me with his paws. So here is the questions, do you think it is possible? If so, how would I go about training him?
Yes, it is very possible to train a Cat to use the toilet.
A co-worker of mine back in 1971 did the same with her Cat; she had pictures to prove it. (Boy, was that Cat surprised)
You can usually purchase a training device in any Pet Shop for teaching your Cat to use the toilet. The directions are usually simple and effective.
Now, if you could also teach your Cat to flush??
